Our Help Is In The Lord: Creator of Heaven and Earth
We do not have to fear and be discouraged by the trials and persecutions of life. The Lord is in heaven and ready to help if we put our trust in Him. He has all of the answers and is just waiting for us to go to Him for direction. Psalm 121:1-2 talks about the Lord helping those who seek Him. "Seek" means to aggressively look for - there is nothing passive about it. When we strongly seek the Lord in all things, expect great changes.
Putting trust in the Lord is a daily decision. We should not wait until something is wrong or after we have tried to figure out things for ourselves to then ask Him for help. The Lord is a perfect gentleman who does not force Himself on anyone. We make the decision to follow Him and obey His word. Psalm 125:1 says that those who put their trust in the Lord are steady and unmovable just like Mount Zion, a hill in Jerusalem. When we decide to daily follow the Lord and lean on Him we are blessed. Proverbs 3:5 says that we should trust the Lord with all of our heart and not depend on our own understanding. We are not successful when we try to figure out things for ourselves. Why not trust the Creator of Heaven and Earth who knows all things?
We are blessed when we lean on Him. Psalm128:1 says that everyone who fears the Lord and walks in his ways is BLESSED. Read and meditate on the Word of the Lord, have an active prayer life, and obey His Word. Watch what happens when we lean on the Lord.
We will get the victory every time we ask for help and wait on the Lord. Psalm 27:14 talks about waiting on the Lord and being patient. Once we trust that the Lord will change things, we must then wait for Him to do so. The Lord, in His time, will send deliverance and give us what we need to go through our tough circumstances victoriously. Read the entire Psalm 121. Meditate on it, believe it, and act on it in your daily life and Choose Jesus Today!
